Menton Halles are located on the Quai de Monléon. This is in the west of the old Menton harbour, where the quayside street passes the cape (map). This market is partially covered. 40 different booths are to be found on this market. The product range includes fruit and vegetables, direct marketing food, cheese, oarganic products, meat products and also flowers and crop.
The covered market built in 1898 by Adrien Rey is remarkable for its polychromy of bricks and ceramics commissioned from the Menton-based manufacturer Saïssi.
Whether inside the municipal hall market and all around there are only food stalls and a few florists on the outside. On the other hand, on Saturday mornings there are also fairgrounds selling clothes, shoes, glasses, etc. on Quai Bonaparte and on Place Fornari.
SourceThe number of exhibitors and the types of products offered vary according to the season or somethimes with the weather. The information is non-binding. The base data about this market were confirmed on the website of the municipality on 12 August 2023.
